Intuto secures
an agreement with the Chinese Ministry of Education's Association
for International Exchange (CEAIE), during the recent 6th
China International Forum on Education.
The significance of the agreement is
reflected in a strong representation at the signing ceremony
including New Zealand's ambassador to China Tony Brown,
trade commissioner for education Jonathan Watt and Professor
Rod Ellis, head of the linguistics school at the University
of Auckland. Key officials of the Chinese government were
present, testimony to the great work of Intuto China in
fostering relationships
Through this agreement Intuto is
set to supply ELT (English Language Training) products and
distribution systems to the Chinese junior high school system,
with a focus on senior high schools to follow. The objective,
says Intuto CEO Dennis Murray, is to lift foundation level
skills in English right across China.
