Who we are
Intuto was established in 2000 by two New Zealand entrepreneurs driven by the vision
of harnessing the power of the Web for educational purposes.
Richard Warren and Dennis Murray had faith that, by combining cutting edge technology
with hard copy course materials, they could create an interactive and stimulating
online learning environment available to students locally, nationally and even internationally.
Intuto now operates with an office of more than 25 staff in New Zealand, an office
in China and Canada and agents in Australia, the United Kingdom and South America.
Our New Zealand origins mean we have an innovative and self-reliant culture – we
don't ask "Why?" We just ask "Why not?"
Inventiveness and creativity, coupled with a belief that education and training
should be as widely available as possible, have led to our partnering with a wide
array of first class providers of course material. We apply our technical innovation
and skill to educationally sound material, enabling us to make a difference to the
lives of thousands of students; 70,000 individuals have embarked on 300,000 courses
with Intuto since 2001.
Intuto partners
Intuto has worked widely in New Zealand's tertiary sector, with some of the country's
major institutions. We have also assisted schools and commercial businesses to achieve
amazing results with our rapid course creation and delivery of learning solutions
and resources online.
Corporate giant Fonterra and industry association the Food and Grocery Council are
just two of the partners to have commissioned Intuto to deliver educational courses.
What makes us different?
By listening to our partners' needs and responding quickly we help to enhance reach
and penetration into desired markets, while improving the means of learning for
students, whether in the classroom, at home or wherever they may be. By removing
the technological barrier we allow organisations and institutions to focus on what
they do best, which in turn has an impact on the bottom line.
