It's a critical step that needs careful handling. Always research what each setting does in detail and test thoroughly in a staging environment before deploying to production. By leveraging its included SSL certificates, many teams can eliminate recurring certificate purchase costs. Furthermore, Cloudflare allows for domain registration directly through their platform, often pricing them at cost. This consolidation of services can lead to tangible savings on your infrastructure spending, which for a small team, represents a significant win-win beyond just enhanced protection.
